In the 2010 spring outdoor track season, the King's Fork High School boys 1,600-meter relay team (4x400) had a breakout year. At districts, the team - then-juniors Vince Mosby, Joe Hill, Deion Dickens and Tyler Holloway - recorded the state's second fastest time, 3:18.31. The team suffered a minor setback when Dickens could not compete at state, but junior Lawan Brown performed admirably as a last-minute replacement, and King's Fork went on to place seventh in state, in 3:22.99.
